Go live. Keep the tape. Ship the show.
Briefings turns one live conversation into everything that comes after it: a room people join, a recording you keep, a replay on LENDZ, and an episode in your podcast feed.

Briefings are live audio rooms on LENDZ. A host goes live at once or on a schedule, alone or with a co-host, and can bring listeners who raise a hand onto the floor. Recording is the host's choice, and everyone who takes the mic ticks the Briefing Recording License first. A recorded room becomes a replay, and with podcast hosting it goes out on the host's own RSS feed. Listeners can send Cables, paid messages pinned during the room.
Who is in the room
Every room has a host. A dual room adds a co-host, who joins once they accept the seat, and runs as either a co-hosted conversation or an interview. Everyone else arrives as a listener.
Listeners are not stuck listening. Anyone can raise a hand, and the host can bring them onto the floor to speak, or invite someone up directly. The host can also remove a person from the room. Alongside the audio there is a chat and a row of reactions.
A room can be open to everyone or set to members only, in which case a listener who does not subscribe to the host is offered a subscription before they can join.
Live, recorded, hosted, in podcast apps
The workflow is the point. One conversation, carried all the way through without leaving LENDZ.
- 01Procedure 01
Set the room
Give it a title and a cover, choose who can get in, and either go live now or schedule it for later.
- 02Procedure 02
Decide on the tape
Recording is off until you turn it on and tick the Briefing Recording License box, shown in full on the start screen. In a recorded room, the co-host ticks the same license before taking the seat, and a listener ticks it before raising a hand or accepting an invitation to speak.
- 03Procedure 03
Run it live
Bring people up, read the chat, and answer Cables as they pin to the screen.
- 04Procedure 04
End it, keep it
The room lands in your Recordings, newest first, with its play count. Edit the title or cover afterwards. If it was recorded, opening it plays the replay, with the chat revealed in step with playback.
- 05Procedure 05
Put it on your feed
Each recording has an On RSS / Off RSS switch. Switched on, a public recording appears in your podcast feed alongside any episodes you upload.
- 06Procedure 06
Reach podcast apps
Your feed is a standard podcast RSS feed. Submit it to Apple Podcasts, Spotify or any app that takes one, and record those listing links on your publication.
What members see when you are on air
A live room shows up as a card with a red live dot, the hosts and the size of the audience. A members-only room carries a lock.
Solo and dual rooms
| In the room | Solo room | Dual room |
|---|---|---|
| Hosts | One host | A host and a co-host who accepts the seat |
| Formats | Led by one voice | Co-hosted, or an interview |
| Speakers from the audience | Raise a hand, come up to the floor | Raise a hand, come up to the floor |
| Briefing Recording License | The host, and anyone who comes up | The host, the co-host, and anyone who comes up |
| Afterwards | Listed in Recordings as Solo | Listed in Recordings as Dual, for both hosts |
Cables: support that lands on air
Cables are paid messages a listener sends the host during a live room. Each one pins to the screen for everyone, and a larger one stays pinned longer.
Four tiers
From the basic tier through Priority, Urgent and Breaking, colored like a news desk from calm blue to deep red.
Read on air
The hosts can read one on air, so the support becomes part of the show.
Kept in the replay
Cables read on air reappear in the recording at the moment they were read.
Podcast hosting, priced for early hosts
Podcast hosting is a monthly subscription for creator accounts. Sign up during LENDZ's first year and it is $7.99, held at that rate for 5 years. Your feed can carry recorded rooms, uploaded episodes, or both.
Before you submit, LENDZ checks the show the way the directories will: cover art must be a JPG or PNG, and the feed lists your category and episode details in the format podcast apps read. Choose recording by recording what goes out, and pull a room off the feed without deleting it.
Who it is for
Hosts with a show in mind
Run the show live with your audience, then publish the recording as an episode without a second tool.
Interviewers
A dual room in interview format gives a guest a real seat beside you.
Questions on file
Q01Is every room recorded?
No. Recording is off unless the host turns it on and ticks the Briefing Recording License box. In a recorded room, everyone who comes up to speak ticks the same license before they speak.
Q02Can a guest have a recording taken down?
No. A guest who speaks in a recorded room agrees to the Briefing Recording License, which gives no right to have the recording, or their part of it, removed. Only the host can delete it, and LENDZ removes a recording only for a legal reason.
Q03Can listeners talk?
Yes. A listener raises a hand and the host can bring them onto the floor, or the host can invite someone up directly.
Q04What does podcast hosting cost?
It is a monthly subscription. Sign up in LENDZ's first year and the price is $7.99, held for 5 years.
Q05Do I need to be a creator?
Any member can host a live room. A public podcast feed needs creator enrollment, $10 once, and an active hosting subscription.
Q06Can I take a recording off my feed without deleting it?
Yes. Every recording has an On RSS / Off RSS switch in Recordings.
Q07Which podcast apps can I reach?
Any app that reads a standard podcast RSS feed, including Apple Podcasts and Spotify. You submit your feed to them yourself.
Q08Can I keep a room for my subscribers?
Yes. Set it to members only and listeners who do not subscribe to you are offered a subscription first. Members-only rooms stay off your public feed.
