Prestige television through a phone-shaped window.
Real series with real producers, built for the way people actually hold their phones — and a theater to walk into, not a feed to scroll past.
BVV Series are scripted, episodic shows made for a vertical screen and shown in the Theater, the series side of Brief Videos on LENDZ. Each series comes from an approved producer, sits in one category from a fixed list, and is sold by the season as a one-time purchase rather than a subscription. Producers can open the first episodes free, or the whole season free with ads, and are paid through their own Stripe account.
Scripted, not scrolled
LENDZ has two kinds of vertical video, and they are deliberately kept apart. Brief Videos are short posts anyone can make in the app. BVV Series are something else: written, cast, shot and delivered as episodes, by producers who applied, were reviewed and signed an agreement before a single episode went up.
The frame is the phone held upright, the way people already watch. The ambition is television: a story with a season shape, characters you come back for, and an ending someone planned.
The Theater
The Theater is the front door to every series. A billboard rotates through featured shows, each title set as a logo directly on its art, with the buttons that matter for that show: watch the free episode, own the season, or read more. Under it sit the poster rails. On a phone, a featured series can play its trailer in the hero; motion stops for anyone who has asked their device to reduce it.
How it is shelved
The rows run in a fixed order: a ranked row, New Episodes, Free to Start, your own seasons once you are signed in, and then one row for each category. Every series is filed under exactly one category from a fixed list — Drama, Comedy, Crime, Thriller, Horror, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Romance, Action and Documentary. No hybrids, no free-text genres. While the catalog is young, upcoming shows appear marked Coming Soon.
Series, seasons, episodes
Each producer chooses how people get into their show. The theater and the series page simply follow that choice.
Free to start
A producer sets how many opening episodes are free. A free episode can open with a short pre-roll ad when one is available, and the series earns from it. Episodes play full-screen and vertical, one after the next.
Or free with ads
A producer can make every episode free with ads instead. Buying the season then means watching it ad-free.
A season, bought once
A season is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Once you own it, it sits in your own row in the theater, and later episodes in it are already yours.
Locked means locked
An episode past the free ones does not play until the season is bought. The series page says so plainly, with the price on the button.
How a producer gets in
Producing for the Theater is by application. The application is one scrolling page in chapters, and it can be saved as a draft and finished later.
- 01Procedure 01
Company and credentials
Who you are as a production — the entity, its structure and contacts — and what you have made before: past productions, key team, distribution history and references.
- 02Procedure 02
The series and the plan
Title, logline, full synopsis, category, audience and comparable titles; then the plan — how many episodes, how long each runs, how often they release, the budget, the timeline and the completion date.
- 03Procedure 03
Link your pilot
The only sample mechanism is a video you have already posted on LENDZ from your own account, linked by its ID or address. The application checks that the post exists, that it is yours and that it is a video. At least one is required.
- 04Procedure 04
Acknowledge the terms
Every acknowledgment is required: the series is original and unpublished elsewhere; approved series stream exclusively and worldwide on LENDZ for an initial term with a possible extension; and missing the declared schedule can mean subscriber refunds charged to the producer and an end to the agreement.
- 05Procedure 05
Review, sign, set up
Applications are reviewed by LENDZ staff. Once approved, a producer signs the Producer Agreement in the app, connects Stripe, creates the first series — cover art, price, free episodes — and uploads the first episode.
The pilot is a post
Most studios ask for a reel. LENDZ asks for something already in the world: a video you posted here, under your own name, that anyone can watch.
How producers are paid
This is how the code moves money for a series. It does not promise an amount.
Season sales, direct
A season purchase is charged directly on the producer’s own connected Stripe account. LENDZ takes a platform fee — the part of the price outside the series’ revenue share — and the rest is the producer’s.
Free-episode ads
The pre-roll ads on free episodes pay the series’ creator a fixed share of their revenue.
Launch timing
Season purchases open when payments go live on LENDZ. Until then the buy button answers that sales are launching soon, and nothing is charged.
Questions on file
Q01What is the difference between BVV Series and Brief Videos?
Brief Videos are short posts any member can shoot and edit in the app. BVV Series are scripted, episodic shows from approved producers, organized into series and seasons and shown in the Theater.
Q02Is buying a season a subscription?
No. A season is a one-time purchase. There is nothing to renew.
Q03Can I watch anything for free?
Yes. Producers choose how many opening episodes are free, and some series are free in full with ads, with an ad-free season to buy.
Q04What kinds of shows are there?
Every series sits in one of a fixed set of categories: Drama, Comedy, Crime, Thriller, Horror, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Romance, Action and Documentary.
Q05How do I become a producer?
Apply from the Brief Videos hub. You will describe your company, your credentials, the series and your production plan, link at least one video you have already posted on LENDZ as a sample, and accept its terms. Approved producers sign an agreement and connect Stripe before publishing.
Q06Do producers keep the rights to their series?
The application asks producers to confirm the series is original and to accept an exclusive worldwide streaming term on LENDZ, with a possible extension. The signed Producer Agreement sets out the rest.
Q07Can I buy a season today?
Season purchases open when payments launch on LENDZ. Until then, the theater shows what is coming and free episodes are the way in.
